These past two weeks I’ve been focused on making small tweaks to my working and sleeping environments. Hugely motivated by an effort to correct tech neck, I’ve rearranged my desk (no more laptop open below my monitor), bought a firm neck-supporting pillow, put my phone in my office at (most) nights, and started incorporating more stretching into my day. I know many of the people I work with are making similar improvements—and everyone’s different. Some are creating focus with blackout curtains and noise-cancelling headphones; others are bringing the light, the chatter, and candle smells in to help them stay engaged with their immediate environment. What matters is what works for you to create the conditions for doing your best work. What small changes are you making? Reply and let me know! Thoughtfully, Kim
